Here is a good web site to help find latitude/longitude coordinates for your communities:

http://www.fallingrain.com/world/index.html

Then use those coodinates in Google World/Map to see your town.

Example: The town I stayed in as a volunteer is San Pedro Nexicho, Oaxaca, Mexico.
